Providing another reason for the foodies of Kolkata to cheer this monsoon, Hyderabad-based quick-service restaurant chain Zomoz has made its way to the City of Joy, marking the brand’s entry into Eastern India. The brand is all set to offer sizzling hot and tasty momos at its first-ever dine-in outlet in Acropolis Mall.
Established in 2016 by ISB alumnus Shouvik Dhar, the quick-service restaurant collaborated with Rebel on its Launcher Program, a full-stack technology that enables food brands to launch and grow quickly. With the support of Rebel Foods, which owns brands like Faasos and Behrouz Biryani, Zomoz has successfully launched in 70 locations across eight major cities, in the past six months. Zomoz is also available for online delivery through platforms like Eatsure, Swiggy and Zomato in locations like New Town, Chinar Park, Ruby, Garia, Behala, Beliaghata and Madhyamgram.
“I feel proud to be able to open our first retail outlet in the city that is very close to my heart. People in Kolkata are connoisseurs of food. It was just a matter of time that we opened here. We hope to live up to their expectations and become one of the most loved food brands in the city. Moreover, we are examining the broader demands of customers, including value-added products, through the prism of authenticity and consistency. Since categories are blending, we will provide customers with the ingenuity they need,” were the words of founder Shouvik Dhar.
