It demonstrates the role these institutions play with their millions of visitors in raising awareness of—and engagement in—sustainable development and the solutions to worldwide challenges such as climate change, human health, energy, waste, water shortages, gender, oceans, and other global issues
Building trust in Science among the students, the activities held by BITM highlighted the significant role of science in society - underlining the importance and relevance of science in the daily lives of people
Additionally, official selections of the Goethe-Institut Science Film Festival 2023 - a celebration of science communication in Southeast Asia, South Asia, Africa, the Middle East and Latin America - was screened for the students
Partnering with the Max Mueller Bhavan, screening of these international films promoted science literacy and facilitated awareness of contemporary scientific, technological and environmental issues
