Seventeen schools from across Kolkata battled it out in 13 different events at ‘Viva 2024’, an inter-school science fest organised by the science and mathematics clubs of Pratt Memorial School on September 26 and 27. DPS Newtown emerged as the champion school at the two-day extravaganza held at the AJC Bose Road institution

The participants also enjoyed performing in plays based on extra-terrestrial life and making functional models on sustainable energy
Indian Statistical Institute director Sanghamitra Bandopadhyay was present at the inaugural ceremony. Eminent personalities from different fields were invited to judge the events

The fest ended with a musical recital by students of Narendrapur Ramakrishna Mission Blind Boys’ Academy
