A 60-feet Ravana effigy is all set to go up in flames at Central Park, Salt Lake, on October 2, to mark the timeless victory of good over evil. The grand Dussehra event will feature more than just fireworks in its 13th edition. Expect an evening packed with sacred rituals and live performances that will enable attendees to revel in the festival’s rich culture and traditions.
Besides the 60-foot tall effigy of Ravana, 50-f00t effigies of Meghnad and Kumbhakaran will also be burnt at the event. A spectacular fire show will add to the spirit of celebration
The evening will also feature a series of traditional rituals and captivating performances leading up to the effigy burning, with an expected gathering of over 25,000 people
The festivities will begin on October 1 with a vibrant Dandiya Night where attendees can flaunt their moves and groove to the lively beats of traditional Garba and Dandiya music
