Calcutta: Defying the gloomy weather, Patrick Quinn-trained Dubai Princess (A. Sandesh up) unleashed a dazzling performance to claim the prestigious Police Commissioner’s Cup, the feature event held here on Saturday.
RACING AGAINST THE ODDS
Despite the relentless drizzle, the Royal Calcutta Turf Club (RCTC) bravely decided to proceed with the races. And what a thrilling decision it turned out to be! Dubai Princess, the 10/3-on favorite, rose to the challenge, leaving her three rivals in awe.
THRILLING VICTORY
With A. Sandesh at the helm, Dubai Princess dominated the field, showcasing her exceptional skill and agility. The crowd held its collective breath as she crossed the finish line, her victory a testament to her unwavering spirit.
SAFETY FIRST
However, following the conclusion of the main event, authorities wisely decided to cancel the last two races of the day, citing unsuitable track conditions for racing. Safety always comes first!
