The JEE Main 2026 Session 2 examinations are being conducted across multiple dates and has begun from today, April 2.

While the admit cards for the April 2 and 4 exams were released earlier on March 29, the latest release covers candidates appearing in the remaining exam days. The examination for Paper 1 (BTech) will be held on April 2, 4, 5, 6, and 8, while Paper 2 (BArch and BPlanning) is scheduled for April 7.

The examination will be conducted in two shifts each day. The morning shift will take place from 9 AM to Noon, while the afternoon shift is scheduled from 3 PM to 6 PM. Candidates are advised to strictly adhere to the reporting guidelines issued by the agency.

As per official instructions, candidates must reach their respective examination centres at least one hour before the gate closing time. Entry will not be permitted after the gates close. For the morning shift, entry is allowed between 7 AM and 8.30 AM, while for the afternoon shift, candidates can enter between 1 PM and 2.30 PM.

To download the JEE Main 2026 Session 2 admit card, candidates need to visit the official website, click on the admit card download link, enter their login credentials, and access the hall ticket displayed on the screen. It is mandatory to download and print the admit card for use on the examination day.

The admit card contains essential details such as the candidate’s name, exam date and time, allotted centre, and important instructions. Candidates must verify all information carefully and follow the guidelines mentioned to avoid any inconvenience on the day of the exam.

The final merit list for JEE Main 2026 will be prepared based on the scores obtained in both sessions. The top 2.5 lakh candidates will qualify to appear for the next stage, JEE Advanced, which is the gateway to admission in premier engineering institutes across the country.
