Make Calcutta Relevant Again Launches The First Season Of An Intriguing Podcast

#MakeCalcuttaRelevantAgain will be launching the first season of ‘Make Calcutta Relevant Again - The Podcast’’ from 1 July 2023. Each episode of The Podcast will feature interviews of homegrown entrepreneurs and artists who have made it big starting from Calcutta. The trailer of The Podcast, to be launched tomorrow, 24 June, 2023 that will sum up the essence of the fun conversations and experience sharing in all the episodes.

The ‘Make Calcutta Relevant Again - The Podcast’’ aims to showcase the rich history, culture and contemporary significance of the city of Calcutta. The first season of the podcast has 6 episodes hosted by Mr Meghdhut Roychowdhury, Founder, ‘Make Calcutta Relevant Again’ & Chief Innovation Officer, Techno India Group & Dr Shabba Hakim, fellow Calcutta lover.

Starting 1 July 2023, a new episode will be released, every Saturday, digitally.

Episode 1 - Sagar Daryani, Co-founder, Wow Momo & Anjan Chatterjee, Founder, Speciality Group Of Restaurants

The episode focuses on Mr Sagar Daryani and Mr Anjan Chatterjee’s entrepreneurial journey. Both of them will be seen speaking about the emerging opportunities in Calcutta. Also, how Calcutta is the food capital of India.

Episode 2 - Usha Uthup, Eminent Singer & Anand Puri, Partner, Trincas

A fun conversation with the legendary pop singer, Ms Usha Uthup, who used to perform at the Trincas during her formative years, and Mr Anand Puri about music & nightlife of Calcutta. An intense discussion on Bengali language and the importance of setting right priorities in life will be the highlight of the discussion.

Episode 3 - Kabir Siddiq, CEO & Founder Sleepy Cat & Abhishek Rungta, CEO & Founder Indus Net Technologies Pvt Ltd

Episode 6 – Ms Kareema Barry, Actor & Social media influencer & Mr Pushpak Sen, Model

A fun episode with Ms Kareema Berry & Mr Pushpak Sen, where they discuss work ethics, fashion, food, literature and how one can take a Bengali out of Calcutta but can't take Calcutta out of a Bengali.
