Registration for UP NEET UG 2024 Counselling Ends Today August 24: Hurry and Register Now!

The Directorate of Medical Education and Training (DMET), Uttar Pradesh, will close the UP NEET UG counselling registration for 2024 today, August 24. Aspiring MBBS and BDS candidates can register for UP NEET UG counselling through the official website upneet.gov.in.

How to Register for UP NEET UG Counselling 2024

1. Visit the official website at upneet.gov.in.
2. Complete the basic registration with personal and academic details.
3. Upload the required documents, including a photograph, signature, and thumb impression.
4. Pay the registration fee online.
5. Review all the entered information carefully before submitting the registration form.

The counselling will determine seat allocation for 85% of seats in government medical and dental colleges and 100% of seats in private institutions. The remaining 15% of government seats will be allocated through the Medical Counselling Committee (MCC).

UP NEET UG 2024 Counselling Fees

• Candidates must pay a registration fee of INR 2,000.
• Those opting for government state quota seats must deposit INR 30,000,
• Applicants for private medical college seats are required to pay INR 2,00,000.

According to DMET, the 2024 counselling process will cover 73 medical colleges offering 10,500 MBBS seats and 23 dental colleges with 2,219 BDS seats in Uttar Pradesh. The process begins with the release of the state merit list, followed by multiple rounds of seat allotment based on candidates' ranks and preferences. Applicants must undergo document verification during counselling to confirm their eligibility.

The seat allotment results for UP NEET UG 2024 will be announced on August 30, and the allotment letters will be available for download. Admissions based on these results will take place from August 31 to September 5, 2024.
