CTET 2026: OMR and Calculation Sheet Request Facility Announced by CBSE; Check Last Date
The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has introduced a facility for candidates who appeared in the Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) February 2026 session to obtain copies of their Optical Mark Recognition (OMR) sheets along with the calculation sheets. Interested candidates can apply for this service until May 1, 2026.
According to the official notification, candidates seeking access to their OMR responses and evaluated marks will be required to pay a fee of ₹500. The payment must be made through a bank draft drawn in favour of the Secretary, CBSE, payable at Delhi. The board stated that this initiative has been introduced following requests from candidates seeking greater transparency in the evaluation process.
CBSE has clarified that even candidates who may have previously applied for such documents under the Right to Information (RTI) Act or through other channels will need to submit a fresh application along with the prescribed fee within the given deadline.
Applications for obtaining the OMR and calculation sheets must include accurate details such as the candidate’s roll number, name, and address. These requests can only be submitted either via speed post or in person at the CTET Unit located at the CBSE Integrated Office Complex in Dwarka, New Delhi. The board has specified that no other mode of application will be accepted.
The board further emphasised that the OMR sheets and calculation documents will be shared exclusively with the concerned candidates. These documents will not be provided to any institution, school, or third party for display or commercial purposes. Any incomplete applications or those submitted by third parties will be rejected without consideration.
Candidates have also been advised to adhere strictly to the deadline, as no requests received after May 1, 2026, will be entertained under any circumstances. CBSE has stated that the decision of the competent authority in this matter will be final and binding.
The CTET 2026 result was officially announced on March 30, with 358937 candidates qualifying for Paper I, 346738 qualifying for Paper II, and 597061 qualifying in total.
