Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning to Math Olympiad, Wissenaire’22, the annual techno-management fest of IIT Bhubaneswar, is all set to tickle your grey cells from April 1 to 3. The Telegraph Edugraph is the digital media partner for the event.

The 12th edition of the fest will be held in hybrid mode with more than 20 rigorous competitions and knowledge-sharing interactive sessions with industry leaders. The theme this year is Nexus Terra: Eminence of Information and Communication Technology towards the enrichment of Global Civilisation.

“Wissenaire’22 is oriented towards technology and introduces students to various existing and developing technological fields. It inspires and motivates them to follow the path of technology. Students will get opportunities to communicate and network during the fest. Participants from all over the country will participate, bringing with them various kinds of experiences and knowledge,” said Sathvik Chilaka, a third-year Computer Science student, who is the chief coordinator of Wissenaire’22.

Here are some events you can still sign up for:

Artelligence: This online event requires participants to solve real-world problems with the use of Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning.

Counter Cypher: If coding is what you love, then try and decipher the program from the input and output results of the code.

RiddleGenix: If you love solving problems, then opt for this hybrid event. Participants can join from campus as well as online to solve six problem statements within a fixed time.

Analog circuit design: Designing and implementing a circuit.

Maths Olympiad: Show your mathematical and problem-solving skills here.

Scriptic Wissen: Test your design engineering acumen with this event. you will be given a set of problems and you can choose to answer the one about your stream of engineering.

Quizzaire: If quizzing is your forte, do not miss out on this technical quiz contest.

Gold Berg Challenge: You will have to make use of your theoretical knowledge and design a machine that can complicate simplistic chores.

Battle Ground Mobile India: This is an online video game simulation event where you have to compete against other teams.

Valorant: An online game simulation where you are up against the enemy team and engage in a gunfight duel.

School Champ: Specifically designed for students of Classes VIII to X. They will be engaged through logical reasoning, interview and memory tests.

Robo cad: Turn the given computer-aided design drawing into a similar model in this event.

Arduino hackathon: Your logical reasoning and coding skills will be tested when a real-life problem will be transformed into a circuit design in this event.

Innowise: Manage a product with innovative and creative solutions.

Pioneers plan: Pitch your perfect business idea.

Investrx: Know how much to invest and where? Test your strategic skills in the stock market.

Auction wars: Love Marvel and DC characters? Join in this auction. This event is open to students of IIT Bhubaneswar only.

Apart from the various competitions, you can also catch some of the industry leaders addressing the emerging minds of tomorrow. Geeta Varadan, former and the first woman director of Advanced Data Processing Research Institute, ISRO, will be the chief guest at the inaugural ceremony. Rameshbabu Praggnanandhaa, the world’s second youngest chess grandmaster; Vinnie Jauhari, learning and skills lead, Microsoft India; and Garima Babbar, head of education initiatives, India and South Asia, Adobe; are some of the speakers who will be addressing the participants.
