Student Association for Promotion of Personnel Management, Human Resources, and Industrial Relations (Sapphire), the HR committee of XLRI - Xavier School of Management, will host the 11th National HR Conference on February 19 and 20.

Keeping up with the latest trends in the business climate, the theme for the two-day conference is ‘Crafting Transient Workplaces: HR Tenets on Balance, Performance and Productivity’.

The first panel discussion on February 19 will be on ‘Managing Disruptions in Workflow: Finding a Balance between Flexibility and Sustainability’. The focus will be on workflow disruptions and ways to achieve positive outcomes by striking a balance between flexibility and sustainability in policies, crafting workplace cultures, performance metrics and other relevant areas.

The second panel discussion on February 20 will be on ‘The Great Resignation: Lasting Ripples on The Future of Work’. The Great Resignation, or ‘The Big Quit’ recorded a historic number of employees leaving their jobs during the pandemic. In India, the technology sectors are already witnessing the effects of The Great Resignation with record attrition rates and other industries are fast following suit. The panel will seek to understand the reason behind this phenomenon in the global and Indian context.

The National HR Conference of Sapphire hosts industry stalwarts and HR chiefs in interactive and academic sessions.
