The West Bengal Joint Entrance Examination (WBJEE) 2022 results were announced on June 17.

The results will be available on the WBJEEB websites www.wbjeeb.nic.in and www.wbjeeb.in from 4pm on June 17, 2022.

The total number of candidates who registered for WBJEEB 2022 was 1,14013; 69,413 of the candidates were from West Bengal. Around 80% of the registered candidates appeared for the examination held on April 30.

The total number of successful candidates was 80,132. Kolkata and North 24-Parganas produced the best results in WBJEEB 2022.

A total of 20% more candidates appeared for the exam this year, the board said in a press conference held at 2.30pm on June 17.

Registration for online counselling is expected to begin in the third week of August. Along with WBJEEB rank-holders, 10% of seats are reserved for JEE Main candidates.

The WBJEE 2022 examination was held on April 30. Candidates had to appear for two papers — Paper I (Mathematics) and Paper II (Physics and Chemistry).

The final answer keys for WBJEE 2022 examination were uploaded on June 16. Scoring and ranking were based on the final answer keys.
