The West Bengal Board of Secondary Education (WBBSE) has asked all its schools to conduct offline selection tests for Class X students between December 13 to 24, 2021.

The Board had previously stated schools would decide if they want to conduct the test examination or not. But, considering the new variant of Coronavirus, WBBSE has changed its decision.

The schools will have the liberty to decide the examination's timing and schedule. Schools have been asked to prepare the question papers of their own and mentioned the institution name at the top of the question paper.

According to an official circular issued: "The question paper of the recognised schools must be sent the Board immediately after completion of each day of examination through email to testpaperwbbse@gmail.com or by hand to the office of the Deputy Secretary (Academic) at 6th floor, Nivedita Bhawan, DJ-8, Sector-II, Bidhannagar, Kolkata- 700091 for selection and incorporation in the test paper 2021-22, which will be published by the West Bengal Board of Secondary Education."

The Madhyamik exams will be held between March 7 and March 16, 2022 with first-language papers on the first day followed by second-language and Geography on the second and third day respectively. The Madhyamik examinations will be conducted with only one paper on each day from 11.45am to 3pm. The first 15 minutes will be provided to read the question paper.
