Teenagers can also receive their shots at 338 hospitals and medical colleges across the state and 37 health clinics run by the Kolkata Municipal Corporation (KMC).

Students wait for their turn at Bethune Collegiate School. “We have begun the drive with 60 lakh Covaxin doses for this age group. A total of 48 lakh teenagers are eligible,” a health official told PTI. All those born before 2007 will be eligible for vaccination, according to the guidelines issued by the Union health ministry recently.
