The University of Sheffield, UK, has announced an undergraduate merit scholarship for students of Delhi Public School (DPS) Society.
The scholarship will offer 50% of the tuition fees for any undergraduate course barring medicine and dentistry. Only students who have already got an offer for any of the undergraduate courses at the university for the session beginning autumn 2022 are eligible to apply.
The last date for application is April 25, 2022. The results will be announced on May 16, 2022.
Students from any DPS institution in India with an offer to study at University of Sheffield can apply for this scholarship. The undergraduate degree programme must be of at least one or two years. Additionally, students must be self-funded and able to pay the overseas tuition fees.
Students already sponsored by the University of Sheffield cannot apply for the scholarship.
The scholarship will be awarded to students with excellent academic profile and a strong vision to make a career in the selected course.
The scholarship is for the first year only. From second year onwards, the scholarship will be renewed only if the student scores at least 60% or above. The student must also have a credit score of 120 in the previous academic year. The scholarship is eligible for only four academic years in the selected degree course.
