750 scholarships for girl students under Shikshodaya programme

EdTech platform Unacademy signed an MoU to offer scholarships to children of Delhi Police personnel.

Unacademy will conduct a series of aptitude tests over the next four years to identify meritorious children of Delhi Police employees and offer them free study scholarships to prepare for and crack competitive exams.

The MoU was signed in the presence of Rakesh Asthana, the commissioner of Delhi Police.

The children of Delhi Police personnel can avail of a 50 per cent discount on the annual price of select courses at Unacademy. Students of Class X till graduation can apply for the test.

Additionally, 750 girl children of Delhi Police personnel will receive free scholarships under Unacademy’s national programme Shikshodaya to empower five lakh girl students in India.

Unacademy will also conduct a series of career guidance sessions at Delhi Police Public Schools to sensitise students on emerging career opportunities. It will conduct career guidance sessions and will distribute over 500 school bags and study materials among the students.
