The TOEFL's administering organisation, ETS, has announced several adjustments to the TOEFL iBT exam. Changes to the test format, registration procedure, scoring system, and other aspects are among them. ETS stated that the adjustments are being made to provide test-takers with the best possible experience.

If test takers previously registered for a TOEFL iBT test need to experience new modifications, they can move up their test date before they go into effect or reschedule their test day for free.

Through their TOEFL account, reschedules are free up until 30 April 2023. The TOEFL website now offers updated versions of the TOEFL iBT free practise test as well as TOEFL iBT practise sets. In the next weeks, more alternatives for exam preparation, both free and paid, will be updated to account for these modifications.

The TOEFL iBT test will start on 26 July 2023 and candidates will take it during the time frame they have chosen. The TOEFL iBT scoring scale is unchanged for users.

The most widely used and preferred test of academic English language proficiency utilised for study, work, and immigration, is the TOEFL iBT exam, developed by ETS. TOEFL iBT scores are used by more than 11,500 institutions in more than 160 nations to make critical choices.
