TJEE Result 2026 Declared - Tripura Board Announces PCM, PCB Group Toppers and Merit List
The Tripura Board of Joint Entrance Examination (TBJEE) has declared the results of the Tripura Joint Entrance Examination (TJEE) 2026 on its official website, tbjee.tripura.gov.in. Candidates who appeared for the state-level entrance examination can now access and download their scorecards online.
The TJEE 2026 examination was conducted on April 22, 2026, for admission to various undergraduate professional courses offered by institutions across the state. The entrance examination serves as the gateway for admission to programmes in Engineering, Agriculture, Veterinary Science, Fisheries, and other professional disciplines.
Candidates can download their TJEE 2026 scorecards by visiting the official website and clicking on the “TBJEE 2026 Result” link available on the homepage. Applicants need to log in using their registration number and password to access the rank card.
After downloading the result, candidates have been advised to keep a printed copy of the scorecard for future counselling and admission procedures.
According to official data released by the Tripura Board of Joint Entrance Examination, a total of 4,731 applications were received for the examination this year. Among the registered candidates, 2,769 belonged to the General category, 1,133 candidates were from the Scheduled Tribe (ST) category, and 829 candidates belonged to the Scheduled Caste (SC) category.
In the PCM (Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics) group, 1,864 candidates appeared for the examination, while the PCB (Physics, Chemistry, Biology) group recorded participation from 3,873 candidates.
For the first time, the Board introduced a minimum qualifying cut-off criterion for the examination. Candidates were required to secure at least 10 marks out of a total of 360 marks to be considered eligible for inclusion in the merit list.
Speaking about the revised evaluation process, Board Chairman Suvadip Paul stated that the qualifying cut-off was introduced to ensure minimum academic standards for admissions through the entrance examination.
Toppers and Merit List
The Board also released the list of toppers for TJEE 2026. In the PCM group, Arghajyoti Saha secured the first rank, while Baibhab Roy emerged as the topper in the PCB group.
The second position in the PCM stream was secured by Animesh Sarkar, while Akash Chaudhuri obtained the third rank in the PCM category and second rank in the PCB category.
In the PCB stream, Arnab Mitra secured the third position.
The Tripura Board of Joint Entrance Examination is expected to announce further details regarding counselling schedules, seat allotment, and admission procedures in the coming weeks through its official portal.
