The Staff Selection Commission will be closing the extended application window for the recruitment of Multi Tasking Staff (Non-technical) and Havaldar (CIBC and CBN) examination on its official website. Candidates who have not yet registered themselves for the examination can do so on the official website of SSC at ssc.gov.in till August 3.
Following the conclusion of the registration process, the Staff Selection Commission will be opening the correction window for candidates who wish to make changes in their application.
Meanwhile, SSC has increased the number of vacancies to 6,144 from 4,887. The number of vacancies for the position of Havaldar stands at 3,439.
After the registration and the correction window closes, the computer-based exam will occur in October-November 2024. The commission will soon announce the schedule of the examination.
Age limit
To apply for the MTS positions, candidates must be within the age of 18 to 25 years as on August 3.
To apply for the Havaldar post, the age limit of candidates should be between 18 and 27 years.
Application Fee
Candidates will have to pay an application fee of Rs 100. However, no fee will be charged from candidates belonging to SC/ST/PwBD and ex-servicemen candidates.
