The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) invited online applications from the candidates for the Junior Secretariat Assistant/Lower Division Clerk Grade Limited Departmental Competitive Examination after it has revised the eligibility criteria of ministry of external affairs (MEA cadre).
As per SSC notification, the multi-tasking staff (MTS) who have passed the Class 12 exam from a recognised board or equivalent and have rendered not less than three years regular service as Group C employee having pay in Level I in the pay matrix and undergone and successfully completed such mandatory training programme(s) as may be prescribed by the MEA are eligible to apply.
The applications from the newly eligible candidates will be accepted through online mode up to till 11 PM on 5 December. The MEA has decided to provide relaxation in the requirement of three years of regular service on the crucial date in the case of MTS direct recruitment of 2016 batch and instead three years of regular service.
The crucial date for the candidates being eligible after grant of such relaxation in the length of service will be 1 July 2021 as decided by MEA, the SSC notified.
It must ne noted that after the completion of the online application form, a printed copy, along with necessary documents, has to be submitted to their respective head of department or office to the regional director, Staff Selection Commission (northern region), block no 12, CGO Complex, Lodhi Road, New Delhi. The application should reach the address by 12 December.
