SSC CHSL 2023: Tier 1 exam will be held from 9 March; Know the major guidelines

The Staff Selection Commission has announced the dates for the SSC CHSL Tier 1 Exam 2023, which will be held from 9 to 21 March 2023.

All candidates who meet the requirements for SSC CHSL eligibility as specified by the authorities are eligible to take SSC CHSL Tier 1. Only applicants who pass the Tier 1 test will be permitted to take the Tier 2 exam.

SSC CHSL 2023: Tier 1 Exam Pattern

SSC CHSL 2023 Tier 1 Examination will be conducted online and consist of multiple choice questions. There are four sections in the paper that includes English, General Awareness, Quantitative Aptitude, and General Intelligence and Reasoning sections of the Tier 1 SSC CHSL exam. The exam consists of a total of 100 questions, with 25 questions per section. The duration for the SSC CHSL Exam 2023 is 60 minutes and for candidates who are PwD, the duration is 80 minutes.

SSC CHSL 2023: Important guidelines for Tier 1 Examination

  • Candidates must have their SSC CHSL Tier 1 Admit Card, and a valid photo ID with them at all times.
  • Smartwatches, Bluetooth devices, mobile phones, and similar products are prohibited in the exam room along with other electronic devices.
  • It is advised that candidates avoid bringing additional paper or pens to the centre.
  • The thermal screening process that is set up at the entrance gate is required.
  • In the exam room, candidates must also wear a face mask.
  • The SSC CHSL Tier 1 admit card 2023 contains detailed instructions for the exam day, which candidates are advised to read over and follow at the examination hall.
