The SSC CGL age reckoning issue has caused a significant number of potential candidates to flood Twitter and other social media. The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has been asked by applicants to change the maximum age requirement for the SSC CGL exam 2023 from 1 August 2023 to 1 January 2023.

For the purpose of filling various Group 'B' and Group 'C' posts in various ministries and departments of the Government of India as well as several constitutional bodies, the SSC will hold the Combined Graduate Level Examination (SSC CGL 2023).

On 3 April 2023, the commission began accepting applications online. On the official website, ssc.nic.in, candidates can apply for about 7,500 openings till 3 May 2023.

The age restriction for various posts will be based on August 1, 2023, rather than January 1, 2023, in accordance with the SSC CGL announcement 2023. Candidates with ages ranging from 18 to 32 are eligible to apply.
