The course is envisioned to meet the growing demand for full stack developers in the IT industry
It will equip learners with relevant skills to build an end-to-end application, test and deploy code, store data using MongoDB and more

Simplilearn, a platform for online upskilling, has partnered with an information technology (IT) services and consulting company, Mphasis, to offer a training programme in full stack Java development to freshers.

In recent times, the demand for full stack developers in the IT industry has seen rapid growth. The gap in demand and supply of skilled full stack developers in IT companies makes this course a lucrative upskilling step, Simplilearn stated in a press communique.

The programme aims to make learners job-ready by training them in Java for front-end, back-end and database layer web development. The programme is set to be a high-touch learning experience for entry-level professionals.

Kashyap Dalal, co-founder and chief business officer, Simplilearn, said, “Globally, there is a need for millions of professionals trained in digital skills like programming, data, cloud, DevOps, etc. These skills are not readily available in the market. The only scalable model to fill the vacancies is to hire for aptitude and then create the skills to make them job-ready.”

The course will be delivered through Simplilearn's high-engagement bootcamp-style learning model. It will give learners access to self-paced videos and live virtual classes by industry experts. To train them as full stack Java developers, the course will equip learners with relevant skills to build an end-to-end application, test and deploy code, store data using MongoDB and more.

“The market for full stack development is growing and is expected to grow even more by the end of the year. Industry reports also indicate that full stack development will be in immense demand in the months to come, making it essential that we, as an IT firm, address the needs of the sector,” said Srikanth Karra, CHRO, Mphasis.

Simplilearn, a San Francisco and Bangalore based digital skills training company, offers training programmes to individuals as well as businesses globally. It conducts over 1,500 live classes. On an average, 70,000 learners spend over 5,00,000 hours monthly on the platform to get certified for upskilling in various domains.
