Scholarships Available to apply for from March to May 2023

Scholarships are given out as a philanthropic endeavor to support and encourage meritorious students, particularly those who may not be able to fund their studies without financial assistance.

1. Aga Khan Foundation Scholarship

The Aga Khan Foundation Scholarship seeks to provide financial assistance to brilliant, exceptional students from developing nations, who have no other way to pay for their education, in order to pursue full-time postgraduate studies at their preferred respectable higher education institutions.

Those under 30 years of age and who are young professionals are given preference. Applications from students who have already started their postgraduate studies or who are enrolled in part-time programmes are also not taken into consideration. Neither are applications for short-term courses.

The Last Date To Apply is 17 March 2023.

2. The JN Tata Endowment for the Higher Education of Indians

The JN Tata Endowment supports Master's, Ph.D., and post-doctoral fellowships in any field of study. It aims to reward "the brightest and most gifted so that they might be of the greatest service to the country," solely on the basis of merit.

Candidates must be Indian citizens, who will not be older than 45 on June 30, 2023, and who have completed their undergraduate or graduate degrees from an accredited Indian university with an average grade point average of at least 60%. Candidates are not eligible to apply if their undergraduate degree was not earned from an Indian university that is recognised.

The Last Date To Apply is 7 March 2023.

3. Taiwan Government Scholarship Programme 2023-2024

The MOE Taiwan Scholarship Program supports deserving South Asian students pursuing undergraduate and graduate degrees in Taiwan by providing each recipient with NTD 40,000 in tuition and other fees each semester. A monthly stipend of NTD 15,000 will be given to recipients pursuing undergraduate studies, while NTD 20,000 will be given to recipients pursuing postgraduate studies.

For undergraduate programmes, a Taiwan Scholarship may be used for a maximum of four years, two years for master's degrees, and four years for doctoral programmes. A Taiwan Scholarship may be held for a total of five years by any one individual.

The Last Date To Apply is 31 March 2023.

4. Orange Tulip Scholarship (India) – OTS Scholarship Scheme 2023-2024

Talented Indian students get the chance to study in the Netherlands with a partial tuition fee waiver due to the Orange Tulip Scholarship (OTS) programme. These four scholarships, one for each school, are provided by Tilburg University (TLS, TSHD, TSB and TiSEM) for the one-year Master's programme, excluding joint or double degree programmes.

Candidates must submit an application for the Orange Tulip Scholarship (India) via NESO India by 1 April 2023.

The Last Date To Apply is 1 April 2023.

5. Holland Scholarship 2023-2024

The Holland Scholarship is supported by 48 Dutch research universities and universities of applied sciences as well as the Dutch Ministry of Education, Culture, and Science. You can apply if you are seeking admission to a full-time bachelor's or master's degree at one of the participating Dutch higher education institutions. Candidates will receive the award, worth €5,000, during their first academic year.

The Last Date To Apply is 1 May 2023.
