According to officials, the Delhi government has built a brand-new building with cutting-edge amenities to train in-service teachers at the State Council of Educational Research and Training (SCERT).

Five training rooms, an auditorium, a conference room, faculty offices, an inset room, and a canteen are all located in this block. Manish Sisodia, the deputy chief minister, opened the teacher training centre and declared that the new facilities would raise the bar for teacher preparation in the city to "new heights."

“Our teachers can be trained here in a good environment with better facilities. This new block will also act as a centre for research and innovation in the field of education in Delhi,” said Sisodia. In addition, he said that while the Delhi government had supplied the facilities, it was SCERT's "duty" to guarantee that the teachers in the new block received the required training.
