The Maharashtra State Common Entrance Test Cell (CET Cell) published the seat allotment result for the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test for Postgraduate (NEET PG) 2024 counselling today i.e. on 30 November. Candidates who have participated in the Maharashtra NEET PG counselling 2024 can download the seat allotment list through the official website- medical2024.mahacet.org/NEET-PGM-2024.

As per the NEET (PG) 2024 information brochure issued by the state CET cell, selected candidates will be required to report in person to join physically from November 30, 2024, to December 4, 2024, by 5:30 pm. The last date to submit the status retention form is December 4, 2024, by 5:30 pm, which must also be done in person.

“If the candidate joins his/her Round-1 seat and wants to upgrade his/her allotted seat, then he/she shall NOT fill Status Retention Form and will have to fill fresh choice(s) for Round-2,” read the information brochure.

Also, candidates who are selected in Maharashtra NEET PG 2024 round 1 counselling but fail to report to the allotted institute will be considered to have opted for a 'free exit,' which is allowed only in round 1. No new registration is required for such candidates.
