Praxis Business School organises first Annual HR Conclave 'Samvaad 2024' themed on AI

The Praxis Business School recently held its inaugural Annual HR Conclave, 'Samvaad 2024,' which served as a platform for meaningful discussions between industry leaders, academicians, and policymakers. The event was held on the college campus on December 13 in the presence of several distinguished guests.
At the conclave, the future of employment, education, and skills development in an Artificial Intelligence (AI)- driven world was discussed.
The conclave aimed to address the challenges and opportunities posed by the AI and its transformative impact on the professional and educational landscape.
"AI has transformed the skill landscape. The kind of skillset the industry requires at present has also changed dramatically. This conclave has acted as a platform where leaders from academia, industry and consulting have converged and are having a healthy debate on the skill sets required by the students who are going to enter the industry in the near future," said Charanpreet Singh, Founder and Director, Praxis Business School Foundation.
The event kicked off with an introductory address by Dr Prithwis Mukherjee, Director of Praxis Business School, setting the tone for a thought-provoking evening.
The event delved into critical aspects of AI’s growing influence on the workforce and its potential to revolutionize education. Over the day, attendees explored the challenges and opportunities presented by AI, the need for robust industry-academia partnerships, and how to ensure equity and accessibility in education through AI innovations.

The event also included panel discussions on the various aspects of Artificial Intelligence in the coming days, which Charanpreet Singh and other professors of Praxis Business School moderated.
