Noida International University (NIU) is accepting applications for admissions to its PhD programme for the academic session 2022-23. The admissions are open for full-time and part-time doctoral programmes as per the criteria and procedures set by the University Grants Commission (UGC).
The last date for submission of application form is July 15. The entrance exam will be held on July 31.
NIU offers PhD programme in various specialisations, including Biotechnology, Civil Engineering, Computer Science Engineering, Electrical and Electronics Engineering, Electronics & Communication Engineering, Information Technology and Mechanical Engineering, Chemistry, Physics, Mathematics, Computer Sciences, Mass Communication, Law, English, Political Science, Sociology, Public Administration, International Relations, Geography, History and Psychology, Education and Fine Arts.
Considering the challenges that emerged last year due to the COVID pandemic, this year, for the benefit of the students, the university has decided to retain the same eligibility criteria as last year. A minimum 55% aggregate (50% for SC/S/OBC) from any recognised university or institution in India or abroad is required for admissions. National Eligibility Test (NET) qualified candidates are exempted from entrance examination. Teaching fellowship financial support may be provided to the eligible full-time PhD scholars in the form of teaching assistantship after successful completion of coursework.
