On April 30, the National Law School Admission Test - PhD (NLSAT PhD) 2023 will be conducted by the National Law School of India University (NLSIU) for admission to PhD programmes in law and PhD interdisciplinary programmes for the academic year 2023–2024.

NLSAT PhD 2023: Last date to apply

On the official website, nls.ac.in, candidates can apply for the NLSAT PhD 2023. The deadline for applications is 6 April 2023.

NLSAT PhD 2023: Application fee

The application fee is INR 3,000 must be paid by the candidates. A study proposal of 6–8 pages will be required from them. 8 PhD seats are available at NLSIU, including 4 in interdisciplinary research and 4 in law.

NLSAT PhD 2023: Exam duration

The NLSAT PhD 2023 exam will last 150 minutes. Essays or answers on legal issues will receive 50 marks each, and research aptitude will receive 50 marks. For making a research proposal or oral presentation before the expert panel, candidates must receive a minimum score of 50% on the written exam.

Based on their performance on the NLSAT PhD 2023, their research proposal, and their presentation skills, applicants will be chosen for admission to the PhD programmes at NLSIU. Research proposals and presentations are given 20% and 10% less weight than the written test, which is worth 70% of the final grade.
