The Higher Education Institutions interested in applying for NIRF 2023 can register on the official website of NIRF till 18 November 2022 up to 5 PM
NIRF has added a brand new category: Agriculture and Allied Sectors along with the renaming of the architecture discipline to Architecture and Planning

Applications have been invited for the National Institutional Ranking Framework (NIRF) by the Ministry of Education for the year 2023. The Higher Education Institutions interested in applying for NIRF 2023 can register on the official website of NIRF till 18 November 2022 up to 5 PM.

There were only 4 categories last year which are as follows: Overall, Colleges, Universities, and Research institutions, and 7 subject domains: Engineering, Management, Pharmacy, Law, Medical, Architecture, and Dental. NIRF has added a brand new category: Agriculture and Allied Sectors along with the renaming of the architecture discipline to Architecture and Planning.

IISC, Bangalore ranked 1st amongst all institutions under the research and university category in NIRF 2022 Ranking. IIT Madras ranked 1st in the overall ranking category.
