Candidates who faced issues during the exam at the MBC Thane-Mumbai, Vidhan Public School- Ghaziabad, MP English school - Varanasi and P T Salagram - Noida centres, will be able to give the exam again

The National Institute of Fashion Technology (NIFT) will be conducting the General Ability Test (GAT) 2023 exam again. The GAT examination will be held for candidates who faced issues during the exam at the MBC Thane-Mumbai, Vidhan Public School- Ghaziabad, MP English school - Varanasi and P T Salagram - Noida centres.

"Candidates who faced issues during the GAT examination at centres: MBC Thane-Mumbai, Vidhan Public School- Ghaziabad, MP English school - Varanasi and P T Salagram - Noida will be given a chance to retake their GAT examination", NIFT stated on its official website.

"Details of time/venue will be communicated separately. their CAT exam however will get conducted as per the original schedule of today(05.02.2023) at the same centre", NIFT further added.

The official announcement to conduct the GAT 2023 exam is on the official website of NIFT- niftadmissions.in. NIFT is yet to declare a date for the exam.

GAT is a common exam for candidates seeking to get admission to all programmes (BTech, MFTech, MFM, BDes, MDes) of NIFT. The examination for NIFT 2023 has two sections- creative Ability Test (CAT) and General Ability Test (GAT). The GAT exam is conducted for two hours for BDes and MDes courses and three hours for BTech, MFTech and MFM courses.
