NEET UG Result 2022: Expected dates, cutoff marks and counselling process

The result for the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET) Undergraduate (UG) conducted in July 2022 will be made available soon on the official website of the National Testing Agency (NTA). Students across the country sat for the exam on 17 July 2022.

More than 15.44 lakh candidates who took the medical entrance examination are currently awaiting the NEET results. The NEET result release date 2022 is likely to be announced soon.

NTA NEET 2022 results, once declared, can be downloaded from the following websites:

Aspirants must provide their application number, date of birth, and security pin in order to view the NEET result for 2022 on the official websites. Additionally, NTA will be sending the NEET exam 2022 scorecards to the applicants' registered email addresses, individually.

NEET UG 2022: Cut-off Marks

Both a qualifying cutoff and an admission cutoff will be used to determine eligibility for the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET) in 2022. The NEET qualifying cutoff is the minimum score needed to pass the entrance exam, whereas, the NEET 2022 admission cutoff represents the last rank at which admission is offered.

The cutoff marks for NEET UG 2022 haven’t been released by the official authorities yet. Aspirants can check the cutoff marks, once released, here as well as on the official website of the NTA.

What after NEET UG Result 2022?

The Directorate General of Health Sciences (DGHS) will act as an agent for the Medical Counselling Committee's (MCC) NEET 2022 counselling. However, for 85% of the state quota seats, the state counselling authority will handle the details. Candidates must register prior to the cutoff date in order to take part in NEET counselling. Students who receive the required percentile on the NEET 2022 exam will be eligible for the 91,415 MBBS; 27,948 BDS; 52,720 AYUSH; 487 BSc nursing; and 603 BVSc & AH seats in colleges across India.
