The National Testing Agency (NTA) has notified that no cut-off date is applicable in Scheduled Caste (SC) and Scheduled Tribe (ST) certificate for National Eligibility-cum-Entrance Test-Undergraduate (NEET UG 2023). NEET 2023 notification has been amended accordingly, the NTA informed.

The NTA said, “With respect to the Information Bulletin for NEET (UG) - 2023, it is clarified that no cut off date for SC/ST certificate in favour of concerned candidates has been stipulated.”

The SC/ST certificate format given in the NEET UG information brochure, “I understand that as per the new guideline from the Ministry of Personnel, Public Grievances and Pensions, GoI, I am required to submit the SC/ST certificate. Since I have not been able to collect the said certificate on time, I may kindly be allowed to write NEET (UG) - 2023 provisionally. I hereby declare that I will upload a fresh certificate at the time of reporting after seat allocation.”
