Today, 6 January 2023, the Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) will begin the special stray vacancy round of the National Eligibility Entrance Test (NEET PG) counselling 2022. Candidates who have pre-registered but do not have a spot in the All India Quota (AIQ) or state quota are eligible to attend the counselling.

On the official website, mcc.nic.in, candidates can submit new choices. The results of the special round of seat allocation for NEET PG counselling 2022 will be released on 10 January 2023.

To take part in the counselling, candidates must pay a refundable security deposit of Rs 50,000. The deadline for payment of fees is 8 January 2023. On 8 January, students can lock their selections from 5 pm to 11:59 pm.

The candidates will not be allowed to take the NEET PG exam in 2023 if they do not accept the seats that have been assigned to them in the special stray vacancy round, according to MCC.

NEET PG Counselling 2022: Important Dates

Candidates must note the following important dates related to NEET PG Counselling for special stray vacancies.

  • Payment of security deposit: 6 to 8 January 2023
  • Choice filling & choice locking process: 6 to 8 January
  • Processing of seat allotment: 9 January 2023
  • Announcement of result: 10 January 2023
  • Reporting to allotted college: 10 to 14 January 2023
