NEET PG 2024 Hearing Delayed: Supreme Court Verdict on Answer Key; Marks Pending; Details

The Supreme Court has deferred the highly anticipated hearing on the NEET (PG) 2024 case for the fourth time. Originally scheduled for November 19, 2024, the hearing will now take place on November 26, 2024, according to media reports.
The case, brought forward by a group of NEET PG aspirants, centres around demands for transparency from the National Board of Examinations in Medical Sciences (NBEMS). Petitioners have called for the release of the NEET PG answer key, raw marks, and details of the normalization method used in the results. However, the NBEMS has so far declined to upload these details on its official website, natboard.edu.in, despite repeated requests.
Timeline of the NEET PG 2024 Case
The upcoming hearing is crucial, as it may determine whether NBEMS must disclose key examination details. Meanwhile, NEET PG candidates await clarity amidst growing delays.
On the other hand, the Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) has declared the NEET PG 2024 seat allotment results for round 1 on November 20, 2024. The results, available on MCC’s official website, pertain to MD, MS, and DNB admissions under the 50% All India Quota seats.
The Supreme Court’s decision on November 26 will significantly impact thousands of medical aspirants awaiting justice and transparency in the NEET PG examination process.
