Navodaya Vidyalaya Samiti has recently released the NVS Class 6 application forms for the batch of 2023-24 JNV admissions on its official website - cbseitms.rcil.gov.in and navodaya.gov.in.

The JNVST examinations for class 6 admissions 2023-24 will take place on 29 April 2023 and the result for the examination will be declared in June 2023. Students wishing to apply can start with the registration process and apply for NVS 6th class admissions till 31 January, 2023.

Steps to apply for NVS class 6 admissions 2023-24

  • Go to the official website- navodaya.gov.in. or cbseitms.rcil.gov.in.
  • Tap on the link which reads ‘NVS class VI registration’.
  • Fill in all the required information as asked in the appropriate fields.
  • Now enter your present and residential address,
  • Enter the academic details of your previous school in the section of 'previous school details'.
  • Upload all documents and images in their respective fields and then click on the “Submit” button.
  • Cross check all details entered thoroughly .
  • Now click on the 'Submit' button to then save the NVS Class 6 admission 2023 form.
  • Take down your application number and keep a copy of the confirmation page saved for further references

Navodaya Class 6 Admission 2023: Eligibility

  • The student applying must be a resident of the district concerned where the Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya is located.
  • Student must be studying in class 5 in the academic session 2022-23 in any government/ government aided/ recognised school in the same district as of JNV
  • The student must have also studied and passed classes 3 and 4 from a government/ government aided/ recognised school.
  • The student must have been born between 1 May, 2011 and 30 April, 2013.
