The registration process for the Maharashtra Teacher Eligibility Test (MAHA TET) 2024 has been initiated by the Maharashtra State Council of Examination (MSCE) on its official website. Candidates willing to participate in the exam can submit their applications online at mahatet.in.

Eligibility

Candidates appearing for Paper 1 must have completed Class 12 exam and hold a Diploma in Education (DEd) or Bachelor of Education (BEd).

Candidates appearing in Paper 2 must have a graduation degree along with DEd or BEd.

Application fee

Candidates appearing in one paper will have to pay Rs 1000 and Rs 1200 for two papers

SC/ST/PwD candidates will have to pay Rs 700 for each paper and Rs 900 for both papers.

Exam Pattern

The exam will consist of two papers. While the first paper will take place from 10.30 am and 1 PM, whil paper 2 will be held from 2 pm to 4.30 pm.

Candidates willing to teach from Classes 1 to 5 will have to qualify in Paper 1, while candidates willing to teach in Classes 6 to 8 must qualify in Paper 2. The admit card for Maharashtra TET 2024 will be issued by MSCE on October 28.
