The NTA held the JEE Main 30 January shift 1 exam from 9 am to 12 noon. According to the JEE Main 30 Jan shift 1 paper analysis, the exam was moderate in its difficulty level with tricky questions in the Mathematics section.

As per the feedback received from experts, Chemistry the paper was easier when weighed against the other sections. Physical Chemistry further had more weightage in Numerical Section as compared to Organic and Inorganic Chemistry. Major part of the question paper further consisted of Environmental Chemistry, Chemistry in Everyday Life, Biomolecules, Polymers, Hydrocarbons, Ethers & Phenols, Aryl and Alkyl halides, Atomic Structure, Electrochemistry, Chemical Equilibrium and Chemical Kinetics.

As far as mathematics paper is concerned more weightage was given to topics like Parabola, Ellipse, Differential Equations, Definite Integrals, Area, Probability, Matrices, Permutation and Combination, Binomial Theorem, Vectors, 3D Geometry, Complex numbers, Determinants, and Progression Series.

In the Physics paper more importance was given to chapters of Kinematics, Heat and Thermodynamics, Work Power and Energy, Current Electricity, Ray Optics, Electrostatics, AC Circuits, Communication Systems, Modern Physics, Capacitors.

The JEE Main 2023 admit card download link is available at jeemain.nta.nic.in. The JEE Main 2023 admit card has a self-declaration form attached that the candidates will need to fill up and submit to the JEE Main 2023 invigilator.
