The Indian Institute of Art and Design (IIAD), New Delhi is inviting applications for its 2022 session. Candidates interested in registering for undergraduate programmes in Fashion Design, Fashion Business Management, Communication Design and Interior Architecture & Design can apply till April 14.

IIAD is affiliated to the Kingston School of Art, London, which gives IIAD students a chance at world-class education and a globally-recognised degree from Kingston University, London once they graduate.

The institute also offers postgraduate programmes in Fashion Design and Fashion Business Management. All these programmes are offered through the institute’s creative studio-based education system that strives to groom the next generation of designers and design thinkers at its state-of-the-art campus in New Delhi.

Eligibility criteria in order to apply:

— For the UG courses, candidates need to have qualified a 10+2 or equivalent exam in any stream (Science, Commerce, Humanities/Arts) with a minimum aggregate of 50%. Candidates appearing for Class XII exams in the current academic year or awaiting results may also apply.

— Candidates are accepted from CBSE/ISC/State/IB or any other equivalent Indian or International Higher Secondary Board.

— For the PG programmes, graduates in any stream or discipline from a recognised institute/university are eligible to apply. Final-year graduate students or students awaiting results may also apply.

IIAD also accepts applications for transfer to its design courses from students who have completed at least one year of a design degree/diploma programme from a nationally or internationally recognized design institute. The student will be evaluated based on an interview and the portfolio of work at the previous design institute.

The screening process at the institute aims to test the merit of a candidate based on his or her aptitude for design learning. The IIAD entrance test has two components, which vary based on the course you apply for. The entrance test for admissions will be held on campus as well as online on April 23 and 24.
