Candidates interested in joining the Indian Air Force through the Agniveer Vayu programme must ensure they meet the eligibility criteria outlined by the IAF before proceeding with their applications.

Documents Required

  • 10th Passing Certificate.
  • 12th Class Marks Sheet.
  • Respective higher education certificates.
  • Recent passport-size colour photograph.
  • Candidate’s left-hand thumb impression image.
  • Candidate’s signature image.
  • Signature image of the parents if the candidate is below 18 years old at the time of filling out the online application.

Age Criteria

  • Candidates must be between 17.5 and 21 years old at the time of enrollment. The exact Date of Birth block specified in the advertisement must be adhered to.
  • If a candidate successfully clears all stages of the selection procedure, the upper age limit at the time of enrollment should not exceed 21 years.

Educational Qualifications

  • Candidates should have completed Intermediate/ class 12/ equivalent examination with a minimum aggregate of 50% marks in Mathematics, Physics, and English, with 50% marks in English.
  • Alternatively, candidates can possess a three-year Diploma Course in Engineering from a recognised Polytechnic Institute with 50% marks in aggregate and 50% marks in English in the Diploma Course (or in Intermediate/ Matriculation if English is not a subject in the Diploma Course).
  • Non-science candidates must have passed the Intermediate/ class 12/ equivalent examination with a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate and 50% marks in English from a recognised education board.
