Institute of Management Studies (IMS) Ghaziabad has signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with Indo-Gulf Management Association (IGMA) in a bid to promote quality research and hold multiple collaborative events.

IMS Ghaziabad and IGMA signed the MoU in a ceremony held online in the presence of Urvashi Makkar, director, IMS Ghaziabad and Mohan Lal Agarwal, president, IGMA, Dubai and India earlier in December.

Speaking about the significance of the association, Makkar said, “The MoU would be instrumental in organising multiple collaborative events and projects. Promoting quality research will be one of the primary objectives of the alliance.”

IMS Ghaziabad is a popular business school with 31 years of academic legacy. It offers a PGDM programme which is approved by All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) and accredited by the National Board of Accreditation (NBA).

Mohan Lal Agarwal, the IGMA president for Dubai and India, said, “Conducting capacity building and corporate training programmes along with faculty, student and executive exchange programmes is a major focus area of the association. The collaboration would open the gateway for new vistas of learning for students, faculty, and researchers alike.”

The PGDM programme offered by IMS Ghaziabad is considered equivalent to MBA by the Association of Indian Universities (AIU). The Institute is also accredited globally by ASIC, UK. It is a member of Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business (AACSB) Business Education Alliance, USA.

IMS Ghaziabad has been enhancing management education by continuously engaging in innovating curricula with the objective of creating global leaders who can navigate the ever-changing business landscape. To boost research and quality in the system of education, the institute has also signed MoUs with MCX, BRICS CCI School of Analysis, CSC Academy, IBM, Northern Illinois University, Fort Hays State University, University of Fredericton, Canada and Jamia Hamdard University, New Delhi.

The Institute has been offering 100% summer internship projects (SIPs) with stipend in top organisations like Curate Data Analytics, WhiteHat Jr, Praedico Global Research, Tata AIG, The Capital Box, Insplore Consultants, Career Domain, Sharekhan, 10times, FinSkool, Fooracles, Jaquar, Pathkind Labs, Chaayos and Sodexo. IMS Ghaziabad has an alumni base of 6000 that are well established at the reputed positions.
