The Indian Institute of Technology Palakkad has initiated the application procedure for admission to PhD and MS by research. The last date for submission of applications is November 10.

IIT Palakkad offers PhD in subjects such as Chemistry, Biological Sciences and Engineering, Computer Science and Engineering, Civil Engineering, Physics, Electric Engineering, Environmental Science & Sustainable Engineering and Mechanical Engineering.
The subjects offered in MS by research are Computer Science and Engineering, Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering and Electrical Engineering.
A candidate may apply for a maximum of two departments. The application fee for ST/SC, PWD and female candidates is Rs 50 and for other male applicants it is Rs 100.

· Select ‘Sign in’
· Click on ‘Create new account’
· Enter your email address and solve the maths question
· Click on ‘Create new account’ below
· Set password
· Start filling in the application form
· Click on submit and pay the application fees online
The candidates must have completed either one of these — Master’s in Engineering/Technology or Science or Master’s by Research in Engineering/Technology or Integrated Master’s in Engineering/Technology/Sciences from Centrally Funded Technical Institute (CFTI) with qualifying CGPA or a 4-year bachelor’s degree in Engineering/Technology/Sciences or 4-year bachelor’s in Engineering/Technology/Sciences from Centrally Funded Technical Institute (CFTI) with qualifying CGPA.
IIT Palakkad was established in 2015 and offers various degree courses and programmes in Engineering, Technology and Sciences.
