The J&K Board of School Education (JKBOSE) on Saturday declared the Class X results for schools in its Jammu division. The exams were held during November and December in 2021.

Girl students have outshone boys by scoring a higher pass percentage of 72.70% in the exams this year. The total pass percentage stands at 69.76%.

As many as 26,201 students — 14,159 boys and 12,042 girls — had appeared in the annual exams conducted by JKBOSE at 347 exam centres. Out of them, 18,279 examinees have been declared qualified, according to board officials.

Among all the successful students, 830 students secured A1 grade; 2,292 got A2 grade; 3,878 students got B1 grade; 5,048 students got B2 grade; 4,969 candidates got C1 grade; 1,252 got C2 grade; and 10 got D grade.

Among government schools, schools in Doda district secured the highest district-wise pass percentage, with 76.42% of their students clearing their exams, the officials said.

Private schools in Poonch district registered the highest pass percentage among all private schools, with 97.40% of their students clearing the exams.

In total, 30 government schools and 38 private schools recorded 100% pass percentage.
