The Indian Institute of Technology (IIT), Kanpur, has extended the registration deadline with a late fee for the Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE) 2023. Earlier, the last date to register with a late fee was 14 October and now the date has been extended to 16 October, 2022. This is the last chance for candidates to register themselves and apply for GATE 2023. Interested candidates shall visit the official website- gate.iitk.ac.in to apply.
IIT Kanpur has scheduled GATE 2023 for 4 and 5 February, and 11 and 12 February, 2023. The examination will be organized for 29 papers. Aspirants are allowed to appear either in one or up to two papers of the GATE 2023
Steps to register for GATE 2023:
- Visit the official website- gate.iitk.ac.in
- On the homepage, click on the link for GATE application
- A new page will appear
- Fill out all the details as required and proceed with the application form
- Scan and upload the documents and click ‘Submit’
- Pay the required fee and download the confirmation page
- Take a printout of your GATE 2023 application form for further reference

Last Date to apply (without late fee)- 7 October, 2022
Last Date to apply (with late fee)- 16 October, 2022
Admit Card issue date- 3 January, 2023
Answer Key release date- 21 February, 2023
IT GATE 2023 result- 16 March, 2023
Candidates must note that the late fee for GATE 2023 registration is Rs 500.
