BrainGymJr, a subscription-based EdTech platform, has recently launched a fully automated teaching portal exclusively for children between ages 5 and 11.

A first-of-its-kind child development initiative, BrainGymJr enables application and problem-solving for children through brain development exercises. It supplements academia by helping children sharpen their logic, reasoning, language and math skills with simple real-life examples.

Speaking at the launch, BrainGymJr founder Vidur Garg said, “We believe in the power of building a strong foundation of logic, reasoning and critical thinking in the early years. Through our exercises on BrainGymJr, we want to make learning and application a daily habit for children. Moreover, we want the entire experience to be fun and engaging. We are thrilled to have like minded investors supporting us. Our dream is to help children across the globe get better prepared for real-life opportunities.”

The launch comes soon after the Mumbai-based company raised Rs 2.5 crore through angel investors in July 2021.

Here’s how BrainGymJr offers a child’s ‘daily dose of brain exercise’:

-- The portal encourages application and problem-solving among children through its questions.

-- It offers a subscription of daily exercises based on Mathematics, English and real-world skills. The level of difficulty is intelligently tailored for the child for each subject, enabling kids to learn at their own pace.

-- Children between 5 and 11 years enjoy learning online with over 16 gamified fun formats including crosswords, grid questions and so on.

-- Regular participation and accurate performance are rewarded with points, unlocking badges, topping global leaderboards and more.

-- Instant solutions and explanations make the learning complete.

BrainGymJr is backed by 10 prominent founders, angel investors and High Net-worth Individuals (HNIs) in India. The fully automated new portal would encourage daily practice to create a habit of thinking, application and problem solving.

“We encourage children to solve problems through allowing them to time themselves, win badges and appear on global leaderboards among other activities. They can also create their own friend’s leaderboard. Moreover, we provide unlimited practice questions up to their level. Once they are ready, they can take a level jump test to move up quickly,” Garg said.
