Defence Research and Development Organisation (DRDO) is recruiting engineers at Combat Vehicles Research and Development Establishment (CVRDE) for junior research fellowships.

The fellowship will be temporary and selected candidates will be engaged for a period of two years. An extension of the fellowship may be allowed based on the requirement of the project and the performance of the candidate.

Those selected candidates for the fellowship will be paid a monthly stipend of Rs 31,000 along with house rent allowance.

DRDO Recruitment 2022 has two junior research fellowships available for which candidates with a BE or BTech in computer science engineering in first division with valid GATE score can apply.

Candidates with ME or MTech degree in computer science engineering in first division in both graduate and postgraduate level from an accredited university are also eligible for the fellowship. Candidates with degrees from foreign universities may also apply if they have obtained an equivalent certificate from the Association of Indian Universities, Delhi.

Interested candidates will have to submit online applications on the official Recruitment and Assessment Centre (RAC) website before January 27, 2022.

Steps to apply for DRDO Recruitment 2022 :

  • Candidates are to register online at the RAC website - https://rac.gov.in/index.php?lang=en&id=0.
  • After the registration, candidates are requested to log in using their credentials and fill the application form and upload all the required documents.
  • Candidates will then have to lock the application to complete the application process.
  • Only locked applications will be accepted by the portal.

An application fee of Rs 10 will have to be paid by General and OBC candidates.

Shortlisted candidates on the basis of qualification will have to appear for a screening test at CVRDE. Final selection will be made on the basis of merit of aggregate marks obtained by the candidate in the screening test.

The final result will be published online on the RAC website.

The fellowship can be terminated anytime during the period with a prior notice of one month.

Only short listed candidates will be called for the screening test and they will be notified for the test through their registered email.
