Candidates from the unreserved and OBC categories willing to accept their allotted seats in the second round must pay a seat acceptance fee of Rs 20,000, while SC and ST category candidates are required to deposit Rs 12,000 as the seat acceptance fee.

AKTU has clarified that candidates considering the withdrawal of their admissions and allotted seats in the second round of UPTAC counselling for BTech and BArch programmes will receive a fee refund of Rs 15,000 for unreserved students and Rs 9,000 for reserved candidates.

The seat allotment results for the third round are scheduled to be published on September 26. AKTU plans to conduct a total of six rounds of counselling, with no option for choice-filling in rounds 4 to 5.

AKTU has outlined that seat allotments for BTech programmes in the state will be based on the students' scores in the Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) Advance 2023. Meanwhile, admissions to BArch programmes will be granted based on the results of the National Aptitude Test in Architecture (NATA 2023).
