In the forthcoming academic year 2024-25, a total of approximately 3,000 seats across various IITs and over 2,000 seats at the esteemed Indian Institute of Science Bengaluru (IISc) will be allocated based on JAM 2024 scores.

The IIT JAM Counselling 2024 process will span four rounds of admissions, with provisions for additional rounds if necessary. Successful applicants from each round must access the official website and select one of three options: (a) Accept and Freeze, (b) Accept with Upgrade, or (c) Reject and Quit.

Candidates need to monitor their status through the portal. Those securing seats in the First Round must engage with the Candidate Portal within the stipulated time frame to make their selection. Subsequently, if vacancies persist, a Second Admission List will be generated.

For candidates opting for Accept and Upgrade in preceding rounds, it is imperative to check their revised seat allocation through the portal. Those granted seats in the Second List must log in to the Candidate Portal and exercise their choice before the deadline expires.
