Candidates who have completed the registration and submitted the counselling fee will be considered for the seat allotment

The Consortium of National Law Universities (NLUs) have begun the counselling process for admission to national law universities. The last date to register for CLAT counselling is 12 January 2023. The CLAT 2023 counselling shall be conducted in five rounds. Candidates have been invited to participate in the counselling process in accordance with the rank list and the admissions matrix provided by each NLU.

For CLAT registration, candidates will need to pay the registration fee of Rs. 30,000 for general category candidates. Candidates from the ST/ SC/ OBC/ BC/ EWS/ PWD categories have to pay Rs. 20,000 as a registration fee.

Registration start- 28 December, 2022 (6 pm)

Last date to apply- 12 January, 2023 (6 pm)

Publication of first allotment list- 18 January, 2023 (10:30 am)

Last date for admission under first admission list- 22 January, 2023 (10:30 pm)

Publication of second allotment list- 27 January, 2023 (10:30 am)

Last date for admission under second admission list- 31 January, 2023 (10:30 pm)

Publication of third allotment list- 25 May, 2023 (10:30 am)

Publication of fourth allotment list- 5 June, 2023 (10:30 am)

Publication of fifth and final allotment list- 15 June, 2023 (10:30 am)

Candidates who have completed the registration and submitted the counselling fee will be considered for the seat allotment. Those who have’nt been allotted a seat in any round of the counselling process may be allotted a seat during subsequent rounds against any vacancies that open up in a particular category.
