The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has issued the CBSE Class 10 Science sample question paper 2022 and its marking scheme. Candidates appearing for the Class 10 Science exam can now check and thereafter download the sample paper directly from its official website cbseacademic.nic.in.

Candidates can even attempt the sample paper and check that they complete the exam as per the allotted timeline. It is compulsory for candidates to attempt all the questions. However, an internal choice will be granted in some questions.

According to the paper pattern, Section A will consist of 20 objective-type questions carrying one mark each. Section B will further consist of six very short questions carrying two marks each. There will be seven short answer type questions carrying three marks each in Section C and the answers to these questions must be between 50 to 80 words. Section D will have three long answer-type questions carrying five marks each, the answers of which must be in the range of 80 to 120 words. Section E will further consist of three source-based or case-based units of assessment being marked on four marks each.

The CBSE Class 10 board exam will begin from 15 February, 2023. With the help of these Class 10 sample question papers, candidates appearing for the exam can now learn about the format of the exam, the topics covered, and the types of questions that will come in the upcoming examinations.
